She woke up to a massive tongue licking her face. Huge yellow eyes set in the cutest black, fur-covered face regarded her intently. She could tell he was grinning, even in his Pure Form. He made it clear he was happy. The ground was vibrating with the rhythmic thumping of his tail.

Kaya realized when she went to sit up that she didn’t have a stitch of clothing on. She searched the area and found her clothes hanging on a tree limb nearby. Rising from the grass she walked to the bank’s edge. Kenneth’s panting breaths tickled her skin, and then she felt his cold, wet nose nudge her in the back. It sent her tumbling into the creek. She was in complete shock and absolutely petrified because she didn’t know how to swim, at least not in Human Form. Panic squeezed at her lungs and she had to mentally steel herself long enough to obtain a proper form for the new environment she’d literally just been pushed into.

Kaya took a deep breath and morphed into a beaver. Her anxiety dispersed and Kenneth seemed to be laughing at her. He took a few strides and stood at the water’s edge, looking at her. Hunkering down, he sprang into the air. As he made his decent into the water and took on Human Form, at the last moment before impact he yelped in surprise. There was a huge splash when he hit the water and when he surfaced his displeasure with the situation continued to fill his features as he swam to the bank. Climbing out of the water soaked to the bone and his clothes clinging to his body, he looked particularly upset. Apparently he had forgotten about putting his clothes back on after they had made love and she’d passed out.

Kaya didn’t know exactly how his transformations worked where his clothes were concerned, because you would suspect his clothes would be ruined when he took on Pure or even Hybrid Form. But like her transformations, they never were, and she didn’t understand the mechanics of it. She’d have to inquire as to how exactly it worked, if he himself even knew.

Swimming toward where he stood, scowling, she couldn’t help but laugh as she ascended from the water, morphing back to her Human Form. The scowl fled from his face and his jaw dropped open as Kaya climbed the bank, wringing out her drenched hair…completely naked. He definitely liked what he saw, that much was evident.

She saw the yellow start to creep into his eyes and purposely shifted her walk to a slower, more seductive sway as she walked to stand in front of him, body glistening with droplets of water. Fixing him with a look of humor, she surveyed his wet attire. She leaned in, hair still in hand, and kissed him. He started growling deep in his throat and his eyes were flaming yellow. She took a step back and smiled at him sweetly.

“Kenneth, be a dear and grab my clothes please.
